Covid-19 hits our house

Last Friday my wife fell ill. Feeling run down. It turns out she had been in contact earlier in the week with someone who tested positive for Covid-19, so we banished her to the bedroom just to be cautious.

This week she has tested positive herself. Thankfully myself and the girls are showing no symptoms. I myself am just exhausted from being the cleaner the cook and from trying to keep triplet toddlers entertained whilst stuck in the house. I’m grateful to have Frankie helping out whilst she’s off school isolating.

Stacey is doing okay and feeling better as the day’s go by. We are grateful it hasn’t hit her harder and that I’ve been well enough to hold the fort. I went to get tested myself today just to be on the safe side.

I Look like i feel

So it’s fingers crossed it has just been my wife that has it and we will all be well for Christmas.

It’s the icing on top of a crappy cake of a year, added to it that both of our vehicles broke down on the same day this week. We can only go up from here.

I hope.

  1. Aw, the triplets are absolutely adorable, I hope that your wife gets better before Christmas(and your vehicles too, not on the same sense ofc 😅)!! And hopefully next year gets much better! 2020 has been quite the ride hasn’t it? But we’re all here, so I suppose we’ve survived, just a couple more weeks and then perhaps things will smooth out 😊
    Sending well wishes,
    ~Janelle 💕

    1. Thank you. This year has been crazy in so many ways. We can only hope next year will bring better luck.
      Merry Christmas to you 🙂
